Writings about my faith
Hello, I dedicated this section of my webpage to talk about my faith! I am a Roman Catholic living in Borneo, Malaysia. I've always been religious as a kid, but during my teen years, I've drifted a bit far from God. Thankfully, God has pulled me back in 2024. I am now striving each day to be more faithful and full of prayer and gratitude for God, who has saved me from so many sins. Doing this website is also one of His callings for me to spread His word through the internet.
My purpose\calling that God had gave me
I've always liked drawing as a kid. I like to think of it as a talent God has planted in me since childhood. I also like creating stories in my head. Recently, I have put more effort into actually writing it. I did this because it seems that this is one of my purposes that God had gave me—to create a story that can spread the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout the world!
This came to me when I got a strong feeling to draw and write, frankly, something that I've been avoiding since I want to focus only on studying. I ignored the feeling for a long time, but when I grew stronger in my faith, the feelings ultimately grew. I prayed that if this is what God wants, then I'll do it. After that, I fasted and got a lot of signs. But even then, I didn't believe in it, because I was highly skeptical and thought that supposedly studying for science should be my main priority in life.
One night I was scrolling through Instagram, I saw a post from a Catholic artist who drew comics centering about a priest's life. The artist at the time was only 21 years old. At that moment, I thought to myself, he already has done something using his talents for God early on in his age—why can't I? I got silent for a moment and surrendered. I prayed and told God that I accept that this is something that I must do—to draw and write for Him. After saying those words, I felt great joy in my heart and immediately cried. It seems like my Holy Spirit and guardian angel both were rejoicing for me. Basically, on that night, I understood my purpose and accepted it.
So what is the story that I will be creating? It's still in process. I figured out the main conflict that will be in it (after a lot of prayers haha) just recently. The story itself has a very big world. I hope I can find a friend soon to help with the art/world concept. The story will present itself in another website that I will do soon. It's going to have somehow a dialog-esque storytelling with the likes of a visual novel. If you saw the dialog in the homepage, that is how I would do it, kinda with a few more tweaks. I hope in a few years I can finally finish it for everyone to see.

About the Rosary
The Rosary is an extraordinary way to pray. It is a meditative prayer that honors Mary and asks for her intercession. There is just something about it that settles our hearts and minds. It puts everything in perspective and allows us to see things as they really are. It reaches deep down into our souls and puts us at ease, creating a peace that is rare and beautiful.

Brief history of the rosary
In summary, the rosary prayer is established when in 1214, St. Dominic had a vision of Mary of her presenting him with a string of beads and speacil prayers to say through her intercession. St. Dominic himself use the rosary to be his weapon in a spiritual battle against the Albigensians heresy.
A more detail look into the the history and story behind the rosary can be found here.
simple reminder that the Rosary is NOT a fashion accessory.
Why should we pray the rosary?
For me, praying the rosary has always been apart of my life. From what I experienced, praying the rosary has helped me with sins that was hard to let go, emotions that were too much to bear and just preparation before an important event. I always feel much more closer to God by praying the rosary, although I struggle with praying it everyday still, I've been praying it more frequently. I also have to say that praying the rosary for someone else is very effective. Me and my family has always prayed the rosary for a family member who's sick or in need of.
How to pray the rosary?
Honestly, I think trying to explain how to pray the rosary in words is a bit difficult for me, so here's a youtube link on how to pray it. Here's a websiteto help you too.
To add more detail, the rosary is prayed with the five sets of mysteries from the gospel. This is so that we may learn invaluable lessons from thd lives of Jesus and Mary. I'll say that reflecting the mysteries while praying the rosary is not necessary but encouraged. But for me, i usually pray my rosary in the dark before sleep so I usually skip reflecting heh.
This section will be a collection of prayers that had help me and will be updated continuously. Prayers to saints usually meant to pray to them to pray for us, not to pray to them like they are Jesus.
Prayers for exams
There was a time where my procrastination habit has come to bite me in the ass with my chemistry and biology exams coming in a week. I got months of learning organic chem yet I don't why, but I seriously didn't study any of it. Guess who came to my rescue? St. Joseph of Cupertino (and of course Jesus as well).

May the Lord guide me and all those who write for a living. Through your prayers, St. Frances de Sales, I ask for your intercession as I attempt to bring the written word to the world. Let us pray that God takes me in the palm of His hand and inspires my creativity and inspires my success. St. Francis de Sales, you understand the dedication required in this profession. Pray for God to inspire and allow ideas to flow. In His name, let my words reflect my faith for others to read. Amen.
So how did my exams go? Extremely well. Literally everything that I try to memorise with that prayer came out in the exams. (Not really everything, but enough to make me pass and shockingly achieve good grades). Thanks Jesus and St. Joseph of Cupertino, I promise not to procastinate... again... maybe......

Prayers to St. Charitina
My baptist name is Charitina!

Thou didst arm thy soul with faith and knowledge and put the enemy to open shame.
Thou didst stand before Christ in a robe dyed with thy blood and art now rejoicing with the Angels.
Pray for us, Martyr Charitina.

My Scapular

I got this scapular from around 2018 maybe? I started to actually wear it daily since last year. It has been a great reminder for my devotion to Santa Maria.
My Miraculous Medal

I got this last year at a church shop. It was only Rm10 so it has gotten rusty in a short time. I wear this everytime I go out and I love it! There was one time I wear this and pray to Mother Mary to help me with an english presentation and it went smoothly with a lot of compliments.
